Analysis of the Current Situation of Teaching Intention among Non- Normal English Majors in Henan Province

Abstract


This paper is based on the actual situation of non-normal English major students in Henan Province, drawing on the theory of technology acceptance model and constructing a structural equation model, aiming to explore the key factors and their interrelationships that affect
the willingness of non-normal English major students to teach. Through empirical research, it has been found that non-normal English majors
have a generally weak willingness to engage in the education industry. This is mainly attributed to the decline in professional social credibility
caused by individual teacher misconduct, as well as the sharp decrease in the number of English training institutions under the double reduction policy, which brings many difficulties for graduates to seek employment. Based on the above findings, this paper proposes a series of
targeted suggestions to provide reference for optimizing the allocation of educational resources and promoting the sustainable development of
the education industry.
