Abstract


Contextual teaching is a new instructional model emerging under the innovative backdrop of educational theories and methodologies in modern times. In the context of higher vocational colleges specializing in preschool English education, this approach is particularly conducive to creating a favorable teaching environment and atmosphere. It enables students to actively engage in the learning
process, thereby enhancing their subsequent application of English knowledge. This article primarily analyzes the advantages of contextual
teaching in the field of preschool English education at higher vocational colleges. Furthermore, it discusses practical application methods
of contextual teaching in this specific educational context, aiming to provide insights for enhancing the learning capabilities of early childhood English educators.
