Progress and Evaluation of the Synergized Quality Improvement Program in Teacher Education in China
Abstract
Under the program, 10 high-level teacher training colleges are assigned to 30 local teacher training colleges. They work together in a "team
approach" to support 32 weak institutions. From the perspective of the policy making process, the policy production and response speed is
extremely fast and has a good radiating effect.This study provides effective lessons for other developing countries in terms of policy design,
policy implementation, and whether the policy can be effectively utilized when carrying out educational assistance in remote areas.
