The Practical Study of Genre-Based Teaching Approach in Argumentative Essay Reading and Writing for High School English

Abstract


This paper discusses the integration model of argumentative essay reading and writing under the genre-based teaching approach in
high school English instruction, and elaborates on the three implementation steps of this teaching model. Through practical verification, applying the genre-based teaching approach to English reading and writing instruction can effectively improve students overall reading and writing
abilities.
