Advertising English and Its Translation Strategies

Abstract


Nowadays, there are more and more players in the market. And the advertisement, as an information carrier, has been one of the
important means to occupy the market. Therefore, it is significant for us to study the stylistic features of advertisements. We must follow the
right translation standards, take characteristics of advertising English into account, apply proper translation strategies to demonstrate the linguistic attraction of this writing and combine them with consumers psychology properly when preparing for translation. This article will list
lots of examples to show the features, principles and strategies of advertising English and the application of them on the practice.
