Exploration of Project-Based Teaching Models in College English

Jing Liu

Abstract

The core concept of project-based teaching is to guide students with practical project tasks, emphasizing active participation and handson operation to achieve a deep integration of knowledge and skills. In the context of college English teaching, this model encourages students to
learn language based on real-life needs and improve their language application abilities by completing English-related projects. Such a teaching
model not only cultivates students language skills but also develops their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and team spirit. Projectbased teaching allows students to experience learning, apply knowledge, and grow continuously through the process of completing projects.
