Role Change and Career Development of College Teaching Staff in the Information Age

Abstract


This paper focuses on the role change and career development of college e-teachers in the information age. The development of
information technology has prompted the role of college e-teachers to shift from teaching assistance to diversified development, facing new
challenges and requirements. The article analyses the new demands of the information age on college e-teachers in the application of information technology, curriculum design and innovation, and teaching assessment and feedback, and elaborates on their role change from technical
assistance to teaching leadership, and from knowledge transfer to ability cultivation. Career development paths are further explored, including
planning development, resource acquisition and support system construction. Finally, suggestions are made to strengthen IT training, promote
innovative teaching methods, and improve the career development system, aiming to promote the career development of college e-teachers
and adapt to the educational needs of the information age.
