Research on the Blended Teaching Model of Translation Courses for English Majors in the Context of New Liberal Arts

Abstract


This article explores the construction and application of blended teaching model in translation courses for English majors in the
framework of new liberal arts. It gives a brief description of the concept of new liberal arts and its characteristics, and analyzes the main problems of translation teaching. Subsequently, the paper introduces the theoretical basis of blended teaching and its methods, and compares the
advantages of traditional education methods and successful cases at home and abroad. Then, it further puts forward the design principles, goal
setting and specific plans of translation courses of blended teaching under the new liberal arts, and demonstrates its advantages with the case
studies. In conclusion, the study shows that the new teaching model can effectively improve the learning efficiency of students, enhance the
teaching ability and improve the quality of translation courses.
