A Study of Counselors Strategies for Coping with Campus Crisis Events in Higher Education Institutions

Abstract


Higher vocational education is an important part of Chinas education system. Under the support of relevant policies, the enrollment scale of higher vocational colleges and universities has been expanding, resulting in a more complex source of students, and in such
a background, the risk of higher vocational campus crisis events has gradually increased. As the main group of managing students education, higher vocational counselors should improve their ability to deal with campus crisis events, and do a good job in preventing campus
crisis events beforehand, dealing with them in the middle and recovering from them afterwards, in order to guarantee the safety and stability of the campus.
