Yang Liu

Abstract

ESP courses have been using traditional teaching methods for a long time, which to a certain extent limits its teaching effect. With
the rapid development of society and the continuous change of talent demand, the teaching methods of ESP courses in colleges and universities need to be improved urgently in order to adapt to the new era and talent cultivation requirements. Therefore, the teaching objectives of
ESP courses in colleges and universities should not only improve students language ability, but also focus on the expansion of their professional knowledge and the cultivation of their practical ability. The task-driven teaching method emphasizes the task as the core, and drives
students learning process by completing specific tasks, so that language learning, professional knowledge learning and practical activities are
closely integrated.
