Zehao Li, Jia Huo*

Abstract

Objective: To explore the application value of case-introduction teaching in the clinical teaching of thyroid tumor. Methods: The
students (n=60) who were interned in the thyroid surgery department of our hospital were selected and divided into groups according to equal
proportions with reference to the method of randomized numerical table: group A received conventional teaching (n=30), group B received
case-introduction teaching (n=30), and the time of inclusion was from 2022.6 to 2024.6. The teaching time of group A and group B was 3
months, and the data of each index of all the groups were compared statistically. Results: After teaching, the theoretical scores and practical scores of group B were higher than those of group A. After teaching, the scores of teaching evaluation (comprehensive ability of leading
teachers, teaching management, theoretical teaching and operation demonstration) of group B were higher than those of group A; all of the
above are P<0.05. Conclusion: The use of case-introduction teaching in clinical teaching of thyroid tumors is conducive to the improvement
of students assessment scores, and the enhancement of teaching evaluation and teaching satisfaction.
