Research on the Organization of Trade Union Activities by Schools and Faculties in Universities: Difficulties, Reasons, and Optimization Methods
Abstract
As an important organization for safeguarding the rights and interests of faculty and staff, the quality of activities organized by
trade unions on school and faculty level in universities directly affects faculty and staffs sense of gain and belonging. This study systematically analyzes the current practical difficulties faced by school and faculty level trade union activities, explores the reasons causing the current
situation, thus proposes targeted optimization methods. This research finds out that trade union activities mainly face problems such as low
participation rate, difficulties in coordinating diverse demands, and bottlenecks in activity quality. The underlying causes include occupational
characteristics, lack of incentive mechanisms, and resource constraints. Based on the above, this article constructs a systematic optimization framework covering three dimensions: requirement analysis, resource integration, and activity implementation. Specific measures are
proposed such as to design demand-oriented activities, to build binary organizational model, to conduct full process recording, and to fulfill
incentive measures.
