The Integration of Confucian Ideals of Aspiration into the Education of Disabled Youth

Abstract


Aspiration-building education is essential for motivating disabled adolescents and consolidating poverty alleviation outcomes.
This study examines the core elements of Confucian Shangzhi ideology and argues that its integration can help adolescents establish ideals,
strengthen determination, and overcome intergenerational poverty. The effectiveness of such integration is shaped by educators, learners, and
intermediary systems. Accordingly, the study proposes practical approaches from three dimensionsschools, teachers, and homeschool
community collaborationto embed Confucian Shangzhi thought throughout motivational education, thereby fostering the comprehensive
development and social integration of disabled adolescents.
