Research on the Realistic Dilemmas and Optimization Paths of Guilin's Cultural-Tourism Integration under the Background of Digital Transformation
Abstract
regional economic upgrading and cultural innovation. Guilin, as an internationally renowned tourist city, possesses distinctive natural landscapes, profound historical heritage, and diverse ethnic cultures, providing unique advantages for the development of smart cultural tourism.
Based on the current foundation of Guilin's cultural-tourism industry, this study analyzes its core dilemmas in the digitalization process,
including infrastructure, digital resources, industrial models, and talent systems. It argues that by advancing new infrastructure construction,
accelerating the digital transformation of cultural resources, fostering immersive and interactive tourism experiences, and improving talent
cultivation and governance mechanisms, Guilin's cultural-tourism industry can shift from a traditional sightseeing model to a smart tourism
paradigm. Digital empowerment is expected not only to broaden and deepen the development of Guilin's cultural-tourism sector but also to
enhance its competitiveness in the global cultural-tourism landscape.
