Research on the Cultivation of Vocational Core Competence of Vocational Undergraduate Students from the Perspective of Emotional Education
Abstract
not only the development of professional competencies but also the cultivation of emotional dimensions in fostering core vocational competencies. Emotional education, as an educational model centered on "awakening emotional experiences and shaping emotional qualities", aligns
closely with the essential competencies required of vocational undergraduates, including "professional identity, stress resilience, and collaborative awareness". However, current vocational education tends to prioritize technical skills over emotional development, resulting in insufficient career adaptability and weak long-term growth potential among students. This paper examines the emotional dimensions of vocational
competencies from an emotional education perspective, identifies practical challenges in current cultivation efforts, and proposes cultivation
pathways through curriculum integration, practical implementation, and faculty development. The findings provide theoretical references and
practical solutions for vocational colleges to enhance talent cultivation quality and support students' long-term career development.
