Research on the Path of Vocational Undergraduate Aesthetic Education Empowerment for Landscape Architecture Talent Training

Tongbin Cui

Abstract

Vocational undergraduate education primarily focuses on cultivating high-level technical and skilled professionals. As an interdisciplinary field combining technical expertise with artistic qualities, landscape architecture requires the coordinated development of technical
competence and aesthetic literacy in talent cultivation. Aesthetic education, serving as a vital vehicle for enhancing humanistic literacy and
fostering innovative thinking, plays an irreplaceable role in empowering the professional development of landscape architecture graduates.
This paper analyzes the value dimensions of integrating aesthetic education into landscape architecture talent cultivation based on the positioning of vocational undergraduate education and industry demands. It examines existing issues such as cognitive biases, curriculum disconnection, and insufficient practical training resources. The study proposes a practical approach to enhance aesthetic education in vocational
undergraduate landscape architecture programs through three dimensions: conceptual innovation, curriculum restructuring, and practical innovation. This framework provides a reference for cultivating high-quality landscape architecture professionals who possess technical expertise,
aesthetic literacy, and innovative spirit.
