Strategies for Improving Literature Reading Ability of Preschool Education Majors Based on an Integrated Curriculum

Jinshan Wu, Sukyoung Cho

Abstract

Literature reading ability is a crucial foundation for preschool education majors to accurately understand and vividly present children's literary works. Based on the concept of an integrated curriculum, this paper proposes enhancement strategies: strengthening theme
generalization ability through the "College Chinese" course, elevating aesthetic appreciation ability through the "Children's Literature" course,
and enhancing emotional perception ability through the "Child Psychology" course. It aims to construct a pathway where multiple courses
synergistically promote the development of literature reading ability.
