A Study on the Current State of Social Cognition of Nature Education and Optimization Pathways

Xiwang Ding, Fumei Guo, Jinmei Zhou

Abstract

This study explores social cognition of nature education via questionnaires and policy analysis. Findings show public understanding
stratification, a "high motivation but low action" contradiction in participation, and a dilemma of unmet expectations in courses. These stem
from lacking industry standards, inadequate faculty professionalism, and limited accessible channels.
Corresponding proposals include: building a diversified curriculum via stratification and technological empowerment; enhancing policy inclusiveness through resource integration mechanisms; and strengthening teacher training with tiered certification. The goal is to elevate nature
education as an ecological civilization tool, providing empirical support for policymaking and industry upgrading.
