The Construction of Communal Aesthetics in the Co-Produced Animation Series Panda Hehe

Yu Cao, Zening Tian

Abstract

Since 2016, when CCTV Animation launched the "Panda Hehe" series of co-produced animations, the work has taken the Chinese "harmony and integration" culture as its spiritual core, innovatively adopting a "dual protagonist" IP linkage model and collaborating
with multiple countries to explore a "community aesthetics" with cross-cultural adaptability. This article analyzes how the series replaces
one-way output with equal dialogue and constructs a shared space of meaning from three dimensions: culture, emotion, and aesthetics,
providing theoretical references and practical paths for the "nationalization" innovation and international communication of China animation in the era of globalization.
