A Study on the Curriculum Development of College English ESP Courses in Relation to Professional Certification Requirements: A Case Study of Northwest Normal University
Abstract
design concerning professional certification. A questionnaire survey with a sample of 384 undergraduates at Northwest Normal University
was conducted and data collected. The study suggested three optimization strategies for the design of ESP curricula: hierarchical structure,
contents, and methods of teaching.
