Factors Affecting Inflammation in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation and Anti-inflammatory Therapy for Atrial Fibrillation

Meixi Chen

Abstract

Atrial fibrillation is currently the most common arrhythmia. It has the characteristics of high incidence rate, dangerous complications
and heavy medical burden. The role of inflammatory response in the pathogenesis and maintenance of atrial fibrillation has gradually been
discovered and is believed to be related to various pathological processes that promote AF substrate formation. Mutations in genes, abnormal
transmission of pathways, involvement of bacteria and dysbiosis of the microbiota, changes in mental and immune states related to tissues can
all lead to changes in the inflammatory state in patients with atrial fibrillation. This article collects relevant factors that affect inflammation in
patients with atrial fibrillation from the micro level genetic aspect to the macro level disease aspect, in order to enrich peoples understanding
of this arrhythmia disease. This article also collected anti-inflammatory adjunctive therapy drugs for current atrial fibrillation patients to better
enrich upstream therapies for atrial fibrillation and achieve personalized treatment for atrial fibrillation patients.
