Continuous Improvement of the Rational Use of Antibiotics in Sichuan Science City Hospital -- Take piperacillin tazazactam and cefazolin

Abstract


Objective: To explore the management of piperacillin tazobactam and cefazolin injection using the PDCA cycle, effectively reducing the unreasonable use and abuse of piperacillin tazobactam sodium and cefazolin injection. The method adopts a doctors order review
supervision based on the PDCA cycle of plan, do, check, and act (referred to as PDCA) to examine the above inpatient medical records. As a
result of the PDCA cycle, the usage of both drugs decreased.
