Abstract


As the aging process in China accelerates, the demand for training professional elderly care personnel is increasing. Colleges and
universities, as the main platform for cultivating professional elderly care talents, face challenges in improving teaching quality and optimizing training models. Information technology, as an important tool in modern education, has achieved remarkable results in many fields.
Through an analysis of the current application, existing problems, and optimization strategies of information technology in elderly care teaching in higher education institutions, this paper explores its positive impact on improving teaching efficiency and students professional competence and provides references for future development.
