Changes of Hepcidin and Serumferritin Levels in Patients with Lymphoma and Their Significance

Abstract


Objective: To explore the changes and significance of serum iron modulators (hepcidin, Hepc) and serum ferritin (SF) levels in
lymphoma patients. Methods: 66 cases of patients with confirmed lymphoma recruited within the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical university Service from December 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects and included in the study group, which
were divided into anemic and non-anemic groups according to whether they were anemic or not, with 33 people/group, and another 33 cases
of healthy medical checkups during the same period of time were selected as the reference group, which were recorded, and the patients were
examined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Serum Hepc level was examined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and
SF was detected by chemiluminescence method to analyze the index changes and significance. Results: The levels of serum Hepc and SF in
the anemic group were significantly higher than those in the non-anemic group and the reference group, with P?0.05. Conclusion: There is
a correlation between serum hepcidin (Hepc), serum ferritin (SF) and lymphoma-associated anemia.
