Effects of Donor Liver Fibrosis on Liver Transplantation and Prevention Strategies
Abstract
long-term survival outcomes can be achieved. However, when the degree of fibrosis is at stage 2 or higher in the Ishak/Knodell classification,
the risk of transplantation significantly increases. The clinical significance of fibrosis varies significantly depending on the characteristics
of different recipients, and fibrosis assessment in high-risk donors is particularly crucial. Technically, the combined detection of H&E and
chromophilic aniline blue staining (CAB) has improved the accuracy of fibrosis assessment. This study emphasizes the importance of fibrosis assessment and prevention strategies in liver transplantation, providing a scientific basis for improving transplant outcomes and patient prognosis.
