The Development and Application of Comprehensive Health Academic English Corpus: A Viewpoint from Medical Ethnography
Abstract
limitations of the traditional language analysis framework. Starting from the perspective of contextualized knowledge production of medical
ethnography, this study systematically combs the development context of the comprehensive health academic English corpus and reveals
the deep connection between its technological evolution and the cross-cultural communication of medical discourse. The study innovatively
proposes the "Contextualized Corpus Analysis" methodology, combining the deep insights of ethnographic field surveys with the quantitative
advantages of corpus technology, and constructs an analysis model covering term metaphors, rhetorical strategies and multimodal discourse
characteristics. Thus, it not only expands the linguistic research path of medical ethnography, but also provides an operational corpus application framework for the cross-cultural practice of the comprehensive health industry, which has important implications for promoting comprehensive health equity.
