The Clinical Application of a Dual-Modal Evaluation Software for Mental Health Index and Heart Rate Variabilit
Abstract
Variability (HRV) analysis in assisting the evaluation of psychological and psychosomatic conditions. Methods: A cross-sectional survey
(20232024) was conducted among 156 psychiatrists from seven hospitals, collecting data on the use and perceived accuracy of the software.
Clinical data from 9, 137 patients assessed with the software were analyzed. The system combined HRV-derived physiological parameters
with embedded psychological scales. Standard clinical evaluations served as diagnostic references. Results: Among 9, 137 cases, diagnostic
consistency (?85%) between the software and clinicians judgments was reported by 73.9% of junior, 77.8% of intermediate, and 80.3% of
senior physicians. Chi-square analysis indicated significant differences across groups (? = 3071.57, P < 0.01), with higher consistency in
more experienced clinicians. Conclusion: The dual-modal software demonstrates strong agreement with clinical diagnoses and offers reliable
support for mental and psychosomatic health assessment, with promising value for clinical application.
