Weifeng Deng

Abstract

In the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the internationalization process of the nursing industry
has accelerated, and higher requirements have been imposed on the professional quality, language application ability, and artificial intelligence
application ability of vocational undergraduate nursing English talents. Vocational undergraduate nursing education focuses on cultivating
applied nursing talents, and nursing English, as a key course bridging the nursing profession and international integration, urgently needs to
adapt to the development needs of the artificial intelligence era. Currently, the cultivation of vocational undergraduate nursing English talents
still faces problems such as lagging teaching models, disconnection between content and positions, insufficient teacher capabilities, and insuf
ficient integration of artificial intelligence, which restrict the quality of talent cultivation. This paper, based on the practice of vocational un
dergraduate nursing education, analyzes the existing deficiencies in talent cultivation, proposes targeted training strategies, and explains them
through practice, to help cultivate application-oriented talents who meet the needs of international nursing positions.
