Design and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage Website for Weinan City

Nevertheless, traditional manual management and offline exhibition modes are plagued by narrow communication coverage, low management efficiency, delayed information updates and other drawbacks, failing to meet the demands of digital protection and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage in the new era. Against this background, this paper designs and develops an exhibition
and management website for Weinan's intangible cultural heritage. Built on the B/S architecture, the system takes PHP and MySQL as core
technologies, cooperates with Apache server and jQuery front-end framework for development, and adopts database encryption technology to
secure data against leakage and tampering. The website consists of two major modules: front-end display and back-end management. Adopting Chinese style design, the front-end classifies resources by the 11 districts and counties of Weinan, realizing visualized display and retrieval
of intangible cultural heritage projects, inheritors, inheritance bases and news updates. The back-end supports full operations of news adding,
editing, deletion and query, category management, user authority allocation and other maintenance functions. The system achieves digital
integration and standardized management of Weinan's intangible cultural heritage resources, broadens the dissemination channels of heritage
culture, and builds an information interaction platform for heritage practitioners, researchers and the public, which bears important practical
significance for the protection and inheritance of Weinan's intangible cultural heritage.
