A Study on the Optimisation of Energy Efficiency in Fuel Cell Passenger Vehicle Powertrains and Vehicle Performance

Jilin Xu

Abstract

The introduction of the 'Dual Carbon' policy has provided strong support for the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry. Fuel cell passenger vehicles, with their numerous advantages—including high efficiency, rapid refuelling and zero emissions—have
also become a key direction in the current development of new energy vehicles. The powertrain, as the core component of fuel cell passenger
vehicles, plays a pivotal role; its energy efficiency directly influences the vehicle's performance, economy and operational characteristics, and
serves as a key indicator of technological maturity. By examining the current state of China's fuel cell passenger vehicle industry, analysing
powertrain energy efficiency optimisation and operational performance, identifying existing challenges and proposing targeted recommendations, this study aims to provide valuable insights for the future development of fuel cell passenger vehicle technology and the advancement
of the new energy vehicle sector.
