Research on Lightweight Body Structure Design of New Energy Vehicles in Vehicle Engineering

Lishizhe Gao

Abstract

Amid the escalating global energy crisis and environmental challenges driving rapid growth in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry, lightweight vehicle construction has emerged as a pivotal technology for enhancing range and energy efficiency, garnering significant
attention. While substantial progress has been made in material innovation, persistent challenges remain in structural optimization and material application. This study provides a systematic solution through comprehensive analysis of current lightweight technologies, exploration of
integrated multi-material systems, topology optimization methodologies, biomimetic structural design approaches, and the establishment of
a coordinated evaluation framework for lightweighting and safety performance. These advancements hold crucial implications for advancing
green and sustainable development in the automotive sector.
