Challenges and Countermeasures in Cultivating Animation Professionals in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Tan Wang

Abstract

On March 5, 2024, Chinese Premier Qiang Li, in his Government Work Report, listed "launching the 'AICG+' initiative" among
the year's ten key tasks as a major goal for fostering new-quality productive forces. AIGC is destined to become the hottest topic in the 2024
pedagogical reform of design disciplines nationwide, simultaneously posing new questions and challenges for talent cultivation, internships,
and teaching practice across art and design programs. This paper probes the challenges that AICG brings to animation-major talent training
and proposes corresponding countermeasures.
