Exploration of Chinese Language and Literature Development in New Media Environment

Xueqin Kang

Abstract

The rapid evolution of new media has fundamentally transformed the ecosystem of Chinese language and literature, breaking down
traditional communication barriers while diversifying creative expressions. However, this transformation also brings challenges including
diminishing literary depth, challenges to linguistic norms, and copyright protection dilemmas. This paper examines the opportunities and challenges confronting Chinese literature within the new media landscape, exploring development pathways through the integration of tradition
and innovation, standardized linguistic guidance, and strengthened copyright protection. The study provides practical references for preserving and innovating Chinese language and literature in the new era.
