Research on the Agile Evolution of Enterprise Organizational Structure in the Context of Digital Transformation
Abstract
cal structures, often rigid and slow, are ill-suited for rapid market response and innovation. Organizational agility has thus become central to
structural evolution. This paper examines the logic, pathways, and key factors driving this agile evolution, using Hunan Broadcasting System
(HBS) as a case study. It analyzes HBSs pre-transformation structural issues, change measures, and agility outcomes, offering insights for
media and other industries. The study finds that digital transformation drives agility through technological empowerment, business reengi
neering, and cultural reshaping, following a path from "hierarchical rigidity" to "flat flexibility, " "networked collaboration, " and ultimately
"ecological agility." Key success factors include top management commitment, technology application, talent development, and cultural inno
vation. The HBS case demonstrates that breaking rigid mechanisms, optimizing structure, integrating technology with business, and fostering
an agile culture are effective approaches.
