Rapid evolution of generative AI technology has provided new technical means for the illustration creation and post-processing of
picture books, changing to some extent the traditional creative workflow. This paper examines three dimensions: technical foundations, implementation pathways and practical challenges, and explores corresponding optimization strategies.
