The Status of English as a Value-Added Language in Hong Kong

Abstract


The aim of this paper is to explore the status of English as a value-added language in Hong Kong. This analysis is done on the basis of the quantitative researches. In this thesis, my discussion will focus on the language uses in three important domains, namely employment, education and government.
