Research on Psychological Healing Elements in Primary and Secondary School Art Curriculum

Abstract


This paper conducts an in-depth exploration of the integration of psychological healing elements into art curricula in primary and secondary schools. By analyzing the close connection between art activities and mental health, it reveals the psychological healing functions of art in emotional expression, emotional release, self-cognition, and other aspects. From the perspectives of creating a creative atmosphere, designing healing activities, introducing mindfulness practices, and applying symbolic transformation, this paper expounds on the paths for integrating psychological healing elements into art curricula. It emphasizes the important value of this integration in promoting students mental health development, enhancing the comprehensive educational function of art education, fostering creativity, and constructing a harmonious campus psychological ecology, thereby providing theoretical and practical references for the integration of art education and mental health education in primary and secondary schools.
