Research on New Mode of Material Forming and Control Engineering Practice Innovation

Xin Liu

Abstract

This paper examines challenges in contemporary material forming and control engineering education, including low practical value,
narrow disciplinary focus, insufficient interdisciplinary integration, and delayed digital transformation. From the student perspective, it proposes three innovative approaches: adopting modern teaching methodologies, strengthening faculty development, and respecting personalized
learning needs. These initiatives aim to cultivate engineering professionals with solid technical expertise, exceptional hands-on skills, and global vision, thereby deepening industry-academia collaboration and fostering sustainable development ecosystems.
