Common Foundation Treatment Methods in Geotechnical and Underground Engineering
Abstract
Foundation treatment in geotechnical engineering is crucial for ensuring the safety and stability of buildings. This article focuses
on a city renewal project, thoroughly analyzing the site's engineering geological conditions. It proposes methods such as replacement cushion
layers, cement fly ash gravel pile composite foundations, and dewatering and interception measures. These methods aim to enhance the foundation's load-bearing capacity and deformation resistance, ensuring the safety and stability of the superstructure. This study provides valuable
references for similar projects in foundation treatment.
