Discussion on Shallow Buried Tunnel Construction Technology in Geotechnical and Underground Engineering

Abstract


As a key method for utilizing urban underground space, the quality of construction technology for shallow buried tunnels directly
impacts the quality and safety of the project. Taking a specific urban shallow buried tunnel project as an example, this paper addresses the
construction challenges by focusing on key technologies such as advanced support, excavation and initial lining, and secondary lining. It also
outlines key points for construction control, including construction monitoring, process optimization, on-site management, and coordination
among all parties involved. By effectively utilizing various construction techniques and management measures, and fully leveraging the enthusiasm and creativity of all participants, the safety and reliability of shallow buried tunnel construction can be significantly enhanced, thus
providing crucial technical support for the efficient development of urban underground space.
