Abstract


This article focuses on the "aging-friendly" renovation design of existing communities under the background of active aging, elaborates the connotation of active aging and the necessity of the renovation of existing communities, analyzes the existing problems in the current
renovation, and proposes targeted design strategies from the dimensions of public space, residential units, facilities and services, aiming to enhance the friendliness of existing communities to the elderly group. Promote the active participation of the elderly in social life and drive the
sustainable development of communities.
