Integrating Oral Reading of Children's Literature into the Primary School Teachers' Language Course: A Teaching Reform Exploration
Abstract
from problems such as adult-oriented training materials and narrow competence objectives, resulting in a notable disconnect from the practical demands of primary education. Taking the oral reading of children's literature as the entry point for teaching reform, this study, grounded
in the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) concept, constructs a three-tier progressive competence framework of "phonetic standardization,
reading expression, and professional application", designs two-dimensional modular teaching content integrating "literary genres and teaching
scenarios", matches it with a diversified evaluation system combining process-based and summative assessments. With supporting implementation measures and systematic reform design, this reform effectively improves pre-service teachers' child-oriented language competence and
classroom adaptability, and bears practical value for aligning talent training with the competence requirements of primary school teaching
posts and shortening the onboarding adaptation period of normal students.
