Application Analysis of Intelligent Control Technology in Wind Turbine Pitch System

Abstract


The pitch system of wind turbines is prone to various operational failures affected by complex wind conditions, long-term operation
and harsh environments. Taking intelligent control technology as the research object, this paper analyzes the existing operational problems
of pitch systems and explores application strategies for intelligent control to realize wind speed adaptive regulation, suppress dynamic load
impact and coordinate the operation of actuators. The application effect is verified relying on the renovation project of Lihanliang Wind Farm,
and the failure rate of the pitch system is reduced by more than 90% after renovation. The research indicates that the combination of intelligent control, AC pitch drive and supercapacitor backup power supply can stabilize unit power output, slow down equipment loss and improve
operational reliability under complex working conditions, which provides technical references for the upgrading and reconstruction of wind
turbine pitch systems.
