Analysis of the Advantages of Digital Transformation for Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprises

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in China’s national economy and social development. They are
not only an important force driving economic growth, but also the key to increasing employment, promoting scientific and technological innovation, and maintaining social harmony and stability. Enterprise digital transformation refers to the use of digital technologies and innovative methods to reshape business models, processes and culture to adapt to the rapidly changing market demands and challenges of the digital
era. In the current business environment, enterprise digitalization has become crucial, and small and medium-sized digital transformation is
not only related to the enhancement of the competitiveness of enterprises themselves, but also the key to promoting the modernization of the
entire economic system. This paper describes how digitalization empowers enterprises to improve quality, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
Promoting technological innovation of enterprises; Helping green production illustrates the positive impact of digitalization on the development of SMEs.
