Research on the Problem of Rural Elderly Care Service in Pingyin County under the Background of Rural Revitalization

Abstract

As the country with the largest elderly population, China is experiencing rapid aging. Accelerating urbanization promotes the migration of young people, further exacerbating the problem of rural aging. Special elderly groups such as empty nesters, the disabled and those
living alone are facing severe pension challenges, and the pension needs of professional farmers and returning and displaced farmers are also
difficult to meet[1]. The rural revitalization strategy brings new opportunities and opportunities for rural old-age care services and puts forward
higher requirements. In his report to the 19th National Congress of the CPC, Xi stressed improving the capacity of rural elderly care services.
In this context, it is the key to build the elderly care service system in line with the actual rural areas and realize the deep integration of medical and nursing care.
