Age-appropriate Shower Head Design Based on Scenario FBS Model and KANO Model

Abstract


With the aging of Chinese society, the problem of elderly bathroom is prominent, the existing shower head is mostly designed for
young people, and the old products are lacking. The purpose of this study is to design an age-appropriate shower head to meet the needs of
the elderly. The scenario FBS model and KANO model are comprehensively applied, and the methods of literature review, questionnaire survey and household interview are combined to analyze the physiological and psychological characteristics and shower behavior of the elderly,
determine the demand points and design points, and form a design plan. It takes the press sliding sleeve lifting rod, the integration of handrail
and shower head, and the magnetic placement area as the design points, which effectively solves the problem of the use of the elderly and provides reference for the design of the elderly bathroom.
