The Influence on Destination Image and Tourist Behavioral Intentions under the Perspective of Short Video Socialization -- Taking Hainan as an Example

Abstract

City image is the public’s overall perception and evaluation of a city, which is a multi-dimensional and deep-level cognitive
collection, covering not only the city’s inner strength, such as economic development and cultural heritage, but also reflecting the city’s
external vitality. Through the window of the media, the public shapes their impression of the city in three dimensions: cognition, emotion and intention. In Hainan, the media also plays a pivotal role in building the city’s image. By telling the story of Hainan, showing
the human charm of Hainan, stimulating the public’s deep feelings for Hainan, and strengthening the image of Hainan, the media form a
progressive communication strategy to build a vivid, three-dimensional, attractive overall image of Hainan, and pull the development of
tourism in Hainan.
