Abstract

external vitality. Through the window of the media, the public shapes their impression of the city in three dimensions: cognition, emotion and intention. In Hainan, the media also plays a pivotal role in building the citys image. By telling the story of Hainan, showing
the human charm of Hainan, stimulating the publics deep feelings for Hainan, and strengthening the image of Hainan, the media form a
progressive communication strategy to build a vivid, three-dimensional, attractive overall image of Hainan, and pull the development of
tourism in Hainan.
