Researching the Influence of Environmental Regulations on the Extent of Corporate Green Innovation during Digital Transformation
Abstract
the profound significance of fostering the synergistic development of digitalization and greening within enterprises in the context of the digital economy. This study investigates the influence of environmental regulations and enterprise digital transformation on the extent of green
innovation within enterprises, utilizing panel data from A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2021. Furthermore, it examines the pathway
through which environmental regulations impact green innovation within enterprises, empirically assessing the effect of environmental regulations on this aspect. The findings indicate a significant positive correlation between environmental regulations and enterprise green innovation
levels, with enterprise digital transformation playing a mediating role in this relationship.
