Abstract
In the 21st century, sports events have become a powerful engine for urban development. Against this backdrop, Chengdu is vigorously advancing its construction as a world - renowned sports city. Teenagers play a pivotal role in the citys long - term development, and the
youth sports event industry serves multiple functions. However, the development of this industry in Chengdu faces several challenges. This
study, based on the sports event industry chain, stakeholder theory, and innovation ecosystem theory, comprehensively analyses the current
situation, problems, and causes of the youth sports event industry in Chengdu, and proposes targeted development strategies. The aim is to
offer decision - making references for relevant departments, enterprises, and practitioners in Chengdu, promoting the healthy and sustainable
development of the industry.
