Research on the Development Status and Countermeasures of Paper-cutting Art in Yuxian County

Abstract


Yuxian County, renowned as the birthplace of Chinese paper-cutting art, faces significant challenges such as a shortage of inheritors, declining market demand, and a lack of innovation. This study explores the current status of Yuxian paper-cutting and proposes
strategies to enhance its market competitiveness and share. By employing literature review, questionnaires, and interviews, the paper
analyzes market demand, consumer preferences, and behavioral habits related to paper-cutting art. It suggests marketing strategies that
balance tradition and innovation, emphasize professional talent cultivation, strengthen product quality supervision, and leverage new media for innovation.
